2. Increase pH with Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
One of the cheapest ways to clean your pool is to make baking soda. You can mix it with water to clean the tiles, grout, concrete or stone. It can also increase the alkalinity and pH levels in your pool by adding 1.5 pounds per 10,000 gallons of pool water to increase the pH by 10 parts per million.
